Common Questions
Grove Studios are self-service. Grove Studios gives you the space to create, including access to a variety of professional equipment. Complete listings of equipment provided and suggested equipment for clients to bring can be found on our website on each individual studio page. We do not have sound engineers or producers on site, but you are free to bring your own.
All of our studios are self-service. Grove Studios does not offer or broker any professional services, but we can connect you with experts within our network. If you’re looking for potential professional support, send us a message to info@grovestudios.space at least 4 days prior to placing any bookings. We do not guarantee that someone will be able to work with you nor are we responsible for any services rendered by third parties.
Studio space must be booked online. Once you book online, you’ll receive your access code and studio entry instructions via email—make sure you check the email you used to create your Grove Studios account. Search for keywords Grove Team in your email web browser/app. You may also need to check your spam folder and add us to your contacts list.
Cancellations must occur by noon the day prior to your scheduled session. Please login to your account to cancel the session. We will provide credit to your Grove account “wallet” or your subscription account to use for future bookings within one business day. Account credit only. If you miss this window you must email us at least 12 hours prior at info@grovestudios.space so we can manually cancel your session. Cancellations after the 12hr window will be considered for credit on a case by case basis.
You can buy studio subscriptions by visiting our Subscriptions page. Subscriptions are available in three different monthly levels: $99/6hrs, $149/10hrs and $249/20hrs. Additional hour credits can be purchased at special subscriber price as well. Unused hour credits roll over month-to-month as long you are a paying subscriber. All unused credits are void after cancellation.
Grove Studios currently operates one location in Ypsilanti, Michigan and are planning a second location for the Corktown neighborhood of Detroit.
