During her senior year of high school, she wrote her first song on guitar for a school play, marking the beginning of her songwriting journey.
Her passion for music is matched only by her dedication to education. As a special education teacher consultant, Lorian brings a unique perspective to her art. “In my heart, I’m not only a musician but an educator,” she shared during her Amplify Fellowship. This dual passion is evident in the relatable, honest lyrics of “Figure It Out.”
The Amplify Fellowship, built by Dr. Rod Wallace and Maia Evans, and a collaboration between Grove Studios and Leon Speakers, played a crucial role in Lorian’s development. Even before being selected as a fellow, she was awarded 40 hours of free studio time, which she used to build her portfolio and create YouTube videos. This experience laid the groundwork for her current success.

In a world where it’s easy to feel isolated, especially during times of change, Janine’s music serves as a reminder that our experiences, no matter how personal, are often shared by others.
