Grove keeps distribution rights. You keep your music and the footage for your own use. We handle everything — production, editing, release.

What equipment do you use to film and record?
We capture multi-camera video with professional lighting already rigged in the Deluxe Studio. Audio is recorded live direct through the room's PA and mic setup with our engineer mixing live. You don't need to bring anything except your instruments and performance-ready songs.
Can we do multiple takes of a song?
Yes, within your booked time block. We recommend treating it like a live performance — one strong take is usually better than 10 nervous ones — but if time allows, multiple takes are totally fine. Your producer and engineer will help you make the call.
How long until we receive the final files?
5–7 business days from your session date. You'll receive a download link for all video and audio files. Need it faster? Rush delivery (2–3 days) can be added for $150.
Do we own the content?
Yes. All deliverables are yours to use however you want — post to YouTube, pitch to blogs, use on Spotify Canvas, send to labels. The only exception is the Featured Grove Session program, where Grove retains distribution rights while you retain full use of your music.
Do we need to be Grove Studios members to book?
No. Sessions are open to anyone. Elite and Pro members receive a 15% discount, which is a good reason to join if you plan to record more than once. See membership options.
How many people can be in the session?
The Deluxe Studio holds up to 8 performers comfortably. Full bands, duos, solo artists with a live band — all work well. Let us know your headcount when booking so we can stage it properly.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellations 72+ hours before your session receive a full deposit refund. Under 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled date within 60 days.
